Job Description Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time.
This is a first shift position on a 4/10 work schedule-Monday through Thursday.

Ensures proper surface masking and preparations, mixing epoxies and solvents to appropriate ratios by weight, volume or viscosity, incorporating a knowledge of scales and weights and how substances interact. Prepares the surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, and masking. Selects and mixes finishing materials, coats and /or touches up product with various epoxy primers and paints. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control and procedures. Works from blueprints and process sheets to develop finishing processes, applications and techniques where thickness tolerances are critical.
