Job Description

This position is responsible for the systems installation of aircraft for the final assembly line, ensuring all components are installed correctly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the station, workplace, or aircraft parking space.
• Install and manufacture mechanical components and parts, including marking, preparing, assembling, adapting, torquing, and securing.
• Inspect bonding according to order/GTI, drawing, and specifications.
• Check system functions to ensure proper operation.
• Specialize in one of the following areas: VTP and HTP installation, hydraulic lines installation, installation in the area of the belly fairing and flap installation, installation concerning air conditioning and fuel systems, MLG & tank test, and gauging test.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and skills in aircraft mechanical systems.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and production processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of aircraft mechanical experience within the last 5 years.
• Experience as an aircraft mechanic or in aircraft mechanical assembly.

This is a Contract position based out of Mobile, AL.

The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $23.25/hr.
