MRO Technician (Aerospace Components/Engines)
Location: Sarasota, FL
Shift: Monday – Thursday
Schedule: 5am - 3:30pm
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRO Technician with hands-on experience supporting commercial aerospace components and/or engines. This role is responsible for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities in accordance with OEM specifications, FAA regulations, and internal quality standards.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience in a regulated aviation environment, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) on aerospace components, engines, or systems following approved technical data
- Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble parts to meet OEM specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to determine root cause
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Complete all maintenance records, work orders, and inspection documentation accurately
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and internal quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical challenges
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Experience in aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Familiarity with FAA Part 145 or similar regulatory environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred:
- Experience working on commercial aircraft engines or related systems
- Experience in a repair station or aerospace manufacturing environment
- Experience using precision measurement and diagnostic equipment
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
