Keep Production Moving as a Material Handler
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21/hr
PDS Tech Commercial is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer specializing in precision electromechanical design. We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-focused Material Handler who understands that every accurate count and timely delivery helps keep production running at full speed.

The Role & Your Impact
As a Material Handler, you are the essential connector between the stockroom and the manufacturing floor. Your speed, accuracy, and attention to detail ensure production teams receive exactly what they need—exactly when they need it.
You’ll support critical schedules, maintain accurate transactions, and uphold compliance standards across ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, Nadcap accreditation, and NASA requirements. Your contributions directly influence quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
Inventory Control & Stockroom Operations
Manage physical and electronic inventory transactions.
Receive, document, and stock all incoming materials and subassemblies.
Maintain precise part counts and accurate stockroom records.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory.
Production Support
Pull and kit components to meet scheduled work orders.
Issue materials to production quickly and accurately.
Perform scrap transactions and reissue replacement components as needed.
Complete detailed production reporting for every work order.
Deliver proactive service to the manufacturing floor.
Systems & Documentation
Execute material movement transactions in the ERP system.
Promptly communicate discrepancies, shortages, or material issues.
Follow documented processes to maintain compliance.
Support root-cause analyses and corrective actions related to inventory errors.
Cross-Functional Support
Cross-train with shipping and receiving to support workflow peaks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Follow all safety requirements and report hazards immediately.
Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Background in inventory control or stockroom operations
Ability to follow instructions with accuracy
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, reaching, climbing ladders)
Eligibility to work with export-controlled materials
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using ERP systems
Familiarity with electronic scales
Exposure to ISO-regulated or highly controlled manufacturing environments
Analytical skills for resolving inventory discrepancies
A continuous improvement mindset

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
