Position: Analyst – Network Planning (Schedule publishing, Code share management & Analytics)

About the role
This role is a quasi‑technical, operations‑focused role responsible for end‑to‑end schedule distribution lifecycle, ensuring IndiGo’s published schedules are accurate, timely, and consistent across all Internal & external systems and channels.
Analyst will manage codeshare setup and governance and drive publishing workflows. and build analytics & automation to improve speed, reliability, and transparency for schedule planning and schedule distribution teams.
The analyst will assist schedule planning & slot management team with analytics, develop dashboards, perform automations.
The analyst will work closely with network Planning, Revenue Management, PSS, Airline partnerships & Alliances, OCC, and Digital teams.
What you’ll do
- Perform schedule publishing and mange schedule distribution across all channels.
- Conduct pre & post‑publish checks to ensure timings, equipment, terminals and day‑of‑operation are correctly reflected.
- Track discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
- Mange existing codeshare partner and new codeshare partner onboarding and maintenance: flight eligibility, operating/spaneting carrier rules, O&D logic, and product class mapping.
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure that codeshare flights are correctly visible, bookable, and synchronized with partner airlines.
- Highlight broken or missing codeshares for corrective action.
- Run daily/weekly parity checks between master schedule vs. selling schedule/operations system/ GDS.
- Maintain documentation logs, issue trackers, and change calendars etc
- Build dashboards for schedule latency, KPI monitoring, publish accuracy, using Power BI/Tableau.
- Develop or assist in small to large scale automations (Python/SQL).
- Create and maintain SOPs, checklists, and business rules documentation.
- Help identify recurring issues and propose improvement ideas.
- Assist in implementing system changes, testing, and user validation.
Preferred Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor/master’s in business, aviation, computer science, analytics or equivalent.
- 0-3 years’ experience in airline Network Planning/Scheduling/Revenue Management or any analytical and technical role.
- Exposure to Amadeus/Sabre network planning, OAG/Innovata, or schedule data formats.
- Familiarity with SSIM Chapter 7, ASM/SSM messaging.
- Proficient in programming and data query languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
- Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
